Grandmother`s easy Danish kringle.
Ingredients.
Recipe for 2 rods Danish kringle.
You need.
- 200 gram vegetable margarine.
- 400 gram flour.
- 2 dl milk.
- 50 gram Cake yeast fresh yeast.
- 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- ½ teaspoon of salt.
Fill.
- 100 gram butter do not melt but crumble.
- 100 gram powdered sugar.
- Grated shell from an orange.
- Rosies and chopped nuts as you think.
- It all blends together.
Recipe.
- Cake yeast is poured into the milk and the rest is mixed and kneaded together.
- The dough is rolled out into a square until it is approx 1 cm thick, cut into the middle so you have 2 parts.
- Fill in a stripe in the middle of the dough, now folde the dough in from each side to cover the filling.
Now it must raise for 30 minutes.
- Before baking, brush it with egg white and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes.
- Before serving you can make an icing of water and powdered sugar and put it on the Danish kringle.
